In order to encourage businesses to reduce the use of phytosanitary inputs, Europe and the Sud Region have implemented a plan to subsidize investments in more environmentally friendly practices.

Although the field has been under organic agriculture since 2020 and treatments are carried out with organic products, we still aim to minimize the use of these products as much as possible. To achieve this, we invested in May 2022 in a Pellenc knife weeder. This tool allows us, with regular passes, to reduce the vineyard area to be treated and consequently minimize the volume of spray used. This action of cutting the top of the shoots also has a prophylactic effect by reducing foliage accumulation and improving ventilation, thereby limiting disease development.
